The students from the grade 5/6 and 7/8 classes found a need to find, evaluate and rank safe, internet sites of interest to kids so that students can safely use at school. Teachers can confidently use these sites knowing that their students are involved in productive, educational and fun learning activities. At Mary Street Community School students from grades 1 to 8 use these sites to research, practice their skills, and participate in fun learning games. We have visited, investigated, ranked and reviewed each site. We visited more than 100 sites and some we felt were either unsafe or unworthy of our ranking and reviewing.
